Class Rooms Purchased
Two buildings were purchased from Trinity ISD and moved to Inspiration Village this past November. The purchase of these buildings will move IV one step closer to begin our Day Program that will provide day services to area individuals in need of a place to spend the day being productive and feeling safe. Showers will be added to each building and a kitchen to one, leaving 3 large rooms for indoor activities. Outdoors, individuals will be able to work in their own gardens, and also help citizens in the local community with their garden plots in our community garden. There is much work to be done before this will be realized, but we are on our way....
We want to give great thanks to Mr. Ed Tindall for the hours of work and the use of his equipment that he volunteered in the preparation of the site for the buildings. Also, Charles Morgan and his crew at Morgan House Moving and Leveling of Kennard who moved these buildings at a greatly discounted rate.
Board member Mike Fulsom was the organizer and engineer that moved the decks, steps and ramps to Inspiration Village. Along with Mike, board members David Price, Dorothy Franklin, Brenda Young and Mary Ann Newhouse were on hand with many volunteers that made the move successful. Our volunteers are: Paula Fulsom, Dwayne Young, Troy Lynsey, Keith Johnson, Chad Johnson, Ryan Lowery, Josh Burson, Rich Scott, Greg "Doc" Cowart, and Neil Smith.
With the continue support and hard work of our Board and volunteers such as these, Inspiration Village will be a success.
